Holly  Noel Russell, 31 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in Knox, Indiana.

She was born Friday, December 11, 1992 in Winamac, Indiana, Daughter of Kevin Surma and Andrea(Rayburn) Surma.

November 25, 2018 in Knox, Indiana, Holly married Billy Russell.

Holly was a teacher at John Glenn Elementary School.  She enjoyed reading, playing Pokemon and painting.  She enjoyed traveling especially to Las Vegas.  Holly also enjoyed going out to eat and singing karaoke.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and friends.

She worked as a teacher  for John Glenn School .

Surviving are  her Husband, Billy Russell of Knox, Indiana, Father and Mother, Kevin and Andrea Surma of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Rebecca Surma of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Ashley(Chance) Heims of North Judson, Indiana, Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law, Dennis and Yvonne Russell of North Judson, Indiana, Grandfather, Roger(Mary) Rayburn of Herndon, Virginia, many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 6 PM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Starke Co. Humane Society.
