Henry L.  Hounshell, 86 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Wednesday, March 23, 1938 in Jackson, Kentucky, Son of the late Bryson Hounshell and the late Betsy Ann (Clemons) Hounshell.

September 13, 1959 in Knox, Indiana, Henry married Betty Robinson, she preceded him on February 21, 2022.

Henry was a family man that loved and provided for his family.  He enjoyed gardening, bee keeping, hunting and fishing, reading his bible and going to church.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a Farm Electrician  for Gumz Farms .

Surviving are Son, Larry(Barbara) Robinson of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jerry(Michelle) Hounshell of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Jason Hounshell of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Wilma(Mike) Rowe of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Tammy(Bryan) Baker of North Liberty, Indiana, 12 grandchildren: Carissa(Jesse) Mason, Dierdra (J.R.) Halsema, Seth Robinson, Austin Hounshell, Michaela Hounshell, Marlana(Wyatt) Bailey, Ella(Jacob) Hudgens, Bradley Rowe, Curtis Rowe, Patricia Rowe, Archer Baker, Avy Baker,  several great-grandchild with one on the way, Brother, Everett(Shirley) Hounshell of Breathitt Co, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hounshell and  wife Betty Hounshell, grandson Carl Wayne, parents Bryson and Betsy Hounshell, brothers Warnie, Arthur, William, Clifton Paul. sister Alma Jean and infant twin siblings  Pearl and Earl.

Friends will be received 9 AM to 10 AM, Friday, August 2,2024 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Round Lake Cemetery, Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10 :30 AM.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
