Helmut M. Lubert

Helmut  M. Lubert, 83 years old of Joliet, Illinois, formally of Knox, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Joliet, Illinois.

He was born Monday, July 7, 1941 in Germany, Son of the late Michael Lubert and the late Lydia (Sandau)Lubert.

Helmut enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and visiting northern Wisconsin.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a computer system analyst.

Surviving are Daughter, Silvia Lubert of Joliet, Illinois, Daughter, Renate Lubert of Oak Forrest, Illinois, 4  grandchildren, Sister, Alma Fetting of Harrisville, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his wife Irene and parents Michael and Lydia Lubert.

Graveside services at Oak Park cemetery, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 1 PM with  Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
