Helen Foster (Cronin) Genis

Helen Foster Genis, 82 years old of Hamlet, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Hamlet, Indiana.

She was born Wednesday, May 25, 1938 in Beecher City, Illinois, Daughter of the late Elsie Cronin and the late Georgia (Guthrie) Cronin.

Helen enjoyed sewing and taking care of her yard and her flowers. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She worked as a Dental Assistant for Indiana Department of Corrections.

Surviving are Son, John Genis of Plymouth, Indiana, Son, Mark Genis of Hamlet, Indiana,  Daughter-in-Law Sharon Jossart of Plymouth, Indiana, 5 grandchildren Eric Trowbridge of Austin, Texas, Adam Genis of Westville, Indiana, Kimberly Mills of Portage, Indiana, Zackary Genis of Lake Station, Indiana, 3 great-grandchildren Elsie Graham of Westville, Indiana, Nash Mills of Portage, indiana, Nora Mills of Portage, Indiana, Brother, Bill(Sharon) Cronin of Standish, Michigan, Sister, Betty Tindell of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Genis, brother George Cronin, parents Elsie and Georgia Cronin and  grandchild John Edward Trowbridge.

Private family services to be held at a later date, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
