Haskell  Collins, 100 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away, surround by his loving family Saturday, June 8, 2024 in North Judson, Indiana

He was born Saturday, February 2, 1924 in Carver, Kentucky, Son of the late Lee Collins and the late Dollie(Bailey) Collins.

November 2, 1941, Haskell married the former Marie Minix, she preceded him on June 30, 1989.  July 20, 2002, Haskell married the former Patricia Howard, she survives him.

Haskell was a WWII veteran and a member of the North Judson American Legion and Knox VFW.  He was a member of the local carpenters union.  Haskell enjoyed gardening and playing cards.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family, friends and his dog Twink.

He worked as a carpenter.

Surviving are Wife, Patricia Collins of North Judson, In, Son, Lon(Vonda) Collins of North Judson, Indiana, Son, John  Collins of North Judson, Indiana, Son, David(Carrie) Collins of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Connie Salyer of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Olivia(Dan) Shirley of South Bend, Indiana, 14 grandchildren 28 great-grandchildren 30 great-great-grandchildren, Brother, Hank Collins of Dutton, Alabama, Sister, Justine Salyer of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Jospehine Born of North Judson, Indiana, Mother-in-Law, Ann Howard of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter-in-Law, Bertha Collins of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter-in-Law, Theresa Collins of North Judson, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Collins, sons Garland and James"Pete" Collins and daughters Gayetta and Viola Collins, grandson Kenny Collins, great-granddaughters Stephanie and Catherine Minix. brothers  Harliss and Hetzel Collins and sisters Mageline Thews, Velva Jean Risner and Katherine Mann.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, June 12, 2024  at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11 AM with Rev. Paul Newcomer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
