Goldie Allen Obituary

Goldie Mae Allen, 98 years old of Brunswick, Ohio, formally of Knox,Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Lagrange, Ohio.

She was born Thursday, December 6, 1923 in Paintsville, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Gideon Jones and the late Ellie(Salyers) Jones.

July 4, 1998 in Knox, Indiana, Goldie married Bazz Allen, he preceded her on August 8, 2001.

Goldie loved to sing Gospel songs with her sister Audrey.  She enjoyed attending church and quilting.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She worked as a caretaker.

Surviving are Daughter, Alice Katheryn Jones of Townsville, South Carolina, Daughter, Travella Sue McIntosh of Brunswick, Ohio, Daughter, Sandra Wolff of Parkman, Ohio, Son, Gary Alan Ball of Townsville, South Carolina, Son, Roger Ball of Knox, Indiana, Son, Mike Ball of Denver, Colorado, Son, Carey Ball of Denver, Colorado, numerous  grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bazz Allen,  sons Carol Gene Ball and Larry Manuel Ball, parents Gideon and Ellie Jones, sisters Carol Sue Hunter, Audrey Faye Salyers, June Jones, Mary Evelyn Jones, Jenny Anderson, Norma Kelley, Myrtle Pelphrey and Sylvia Kasky and brothers Henry, Ernest, Chester, Marion and Howard Jones.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1 PM with Rev. Dan Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
