Glenn McDaniel Obituary

Glenn Edward McDaniel, a cherished son, brother, father, papaw, uncle and friend passed away on August 9, 2024, in Knox, Indiana.  Born on June 29, 1979, Glenn's 45 years on earth were marked by an abundance of love, laughter and the joy of family.

Glenn's early years were spent in Salyersville, Kentucky, where he lived with his father until the age of 15.  He found his soulmate, Beverly Sue, with whom he shared the vows of marriage on January 26, 2001.  Their marriage was blessed with 4 daughters, Chelsey, Whitney, Macey, Emiley and they lovingly raised their nephew, Nathan, as their own son.

A devoted family man, Glenn's heart was further expanded with the arrival of his grandchildren; Skyrah, Aubriana, Paisley and Harper.  Each of them brought a sparkle to his eye and a joy that resonated in his every action.  Glenn's love for his family was a vast as the sky.

Professionally, Glenn was known as the "Tree Man", dedicating 20 years of his life to Statewide Tree Service.  Glenn's love for life extended beyond his professional endeavors.  He was an avid outdoorsman who found solace in nature, whether it was riding his Harley or simply enjoying the company of his loved ones.  His presence was a source of laughter and comfort to all who knew him.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Glenn will remember him for his loving nature, his kind heart and his unique sense of humor.  He always had a rhyme ready to evoke a smile, as if he were a poet and didn't know it.   His ability to connect with people was extraordinary; Glenn never knew a stranger, for in his eyes, everyone was a friend.

Glenn is survived by his mother Sandy(Jerry) Cooper of Knox, Indiana, his sisters, Sherry(Dain) Whitaker of Knox, Indiana, Amy(Luke) Turner of Plymouth, Indiana and Katie(Tim) Miller of Knox, Indiana; one step-sister Anna Stacy of Culver, Indiana, his brothers, Marvin(Jami) McDaniel of Grovertown, Indiana and Justin(Chantel) McDaniel of Winamac, Indiana.  His life's legacy continues through his children; Chelsey, Whitney, Macey, Emiley, Karissa and Nathan.  Grandchildren; Skyrah, Aubriana, Paisley, and Harper.  Glenn is also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Glenn is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Mary McDaniel, maternal grandparents Goble and Helen Mullins, and his father Marvin McDaniel.  Glenn's memory will be a guiding light for his loved ones.
