Freida Bailey

Freida  Bailey, 78 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away, Friday, November 3, 2023 in Merrillville, Indiana.

She was born Tuesday, March 20, 1945 in Decoy, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Buck Stacy and the late Ellen(Shepherd) Stacy.

July 26, 1961 in Knox, Indiana, Freida married Troy Bailey, he preceded her on April 23, 2014.

Freida enjoyed yard work, tending to her flowers and gardening.  She enjoyed visiting with friends and family and sitting on her front porch.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Kenny(Kim) Bailey of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Roger Bailey of Hernando, Florida, Daughter, Kim(Scott) Lutz of Bremen, Indiana, Daughter, Rhonda(Jimmy) Ahlenius of Knox, Indiana, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, Sister, Dorsey McKinney of Fort Myers, Florida, Sister, Francis Shock of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Glenna(Doug) Bunton of Plymouth, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Bailey, daughter Shelly Bodine, grandson Troy Dylan Bailey. parents Buck and Ellen Stacy, brothers Arnold, Dexter and Aaron Stacy and sisters Dallas Smith, Media Klingerman, Georgia Howard.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2023  at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at  1 PM.

Interment will follow in the Highland  Cemetery.
