Erich W. Pearman

Erich William Pearman, 51 years old of Hanna, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 in Laporte, Indiana.

He was born Tuesday, March 2, 1971 in Merrillville, Indiana, Son of the late Carmen(Pearman) Arlt.

When he was in first grade, he, his mother and brother set out on an adventure after meeting Jan Jahnke traveling to Washington State then back to Indiana landing him in Knox, Indiana.  Erich attended St Thomas Aquinas School followed by Knox High School where he wrestled and made numerous lifelong friends.  After graduation he dabbled in business with the Pit Stop Gas Station and attended college at Purdue where he gained the skills in engineering that brought him to roles in mechanical design first at Motive Power in Boise, Castle Engineering, Volk Inc. and most recently OTES in North Judson.  Erich enjoyed doing things with his friends and family, especially his brother and his dog Rambo.  Erich had a love for music starting back in middle school, where he was in involved with the band.  His love for music led to collecting speakers to listen to his music.  His friends like Pat McKee amd many others looked out for him and were a huge part of his life.

He worked as a Design Engineer  for Otes in North Judson.

Surviving are Brother, David(Victoria) Pearman of Knox, Indiana, Niece, Autumn(Ryan) Myers of Danville, Indiana, Nephew, David C.(Lauren) Pearman of Crawfordville, Indiana, Step-father, Jan(Angel Giuliani) Jahnke, three Aunts(Sue, Anna and Mary) and Uncles( Steven and John).

He was preceded in death by grandmother Beatrice Radinsky, mother Carmen Pearman Arlt and uncles David and Joey.

Friends will be received 4:30 PM till time of services at 6 PM, Friday, July 8 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, July 8, 2022 at 6 PM with Father Spanley officiating.

Memorials may be made to Porter-Starke Services in Erich name.
