Edward D. "Eddie" Brooke, 48 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday June 21, 2021 in Munster, Indiana.

He was born Wednesday, April 18, 1973 in Knox, Indiana, Son of Barbara (Smith) Robinson and Edwin D. Brooke.

On July 16, 2011, in Laporte, Indiana, Eddie married Pamela Pratt and she survives him.

Eddie was a member of the United Steel Workers Union #12775. He was a member of the Executive Board, a safety advocate, and was recently elected to Grievance Committeemen. He enjoyed volunteering for the Union. Eddie enjoyed participating in Riley Children's Miracle Ride. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked for NIPSCO Gas Utility as a Mechanic Equipment Operator.

Surviving are his Wife, Pamela Brooke of Knox, Indiana, Son, Brandon(Stephanie) D Brooke of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Son, Owen Wathen of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Hali(Josh) Brooke of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughter, Carly Wathen of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Dalton Brooke of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sister, Sierra(Or-Shal) Shalmiyev of Las Vegas, Nevada, Step-brother, Seth(Christina) Robinson of Monticello, Indiana, Step-Sister, Carissa(Jessie) Mason of Monticello, Indiana, Step-Sister Deirdra(JR) Halsema of Chalmers, Indiana, 5 grandchildren, Mother and Step-Father, Barbara(Larry) Robinson of Knox, Indiana, Father, Edwin Brooke of Logansport, Indiana, 8 nephews and 2 nieces.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8PM, Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior, Rev Earl Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
