Dudley "Doug" A. Trusty

Dudley "Doug" A. Trusty, 68 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Thursday, June 10, 1954 in Winamac, Indiana, Son of the late Harold Trusty and the late Ruby(Rowe) Trusty.

April 8, 2012 in Knox, Indiana, Dudley married Jeannie Little, she survives him.

Dudley was a member of the Little Dove United Baptist church.  He was a 20 year member of the Starke Co. Sheriff Possee.  He enjoyed singing and playing piano, especially with his brother Bobby.  He enjoyed watching Westerns and  Andy Griffith.  He enjoyed doing yard work and in the past enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.  Dudley's greatest passion was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren..

He worked as a carpenter  for Noble Home improvement .

Surviving are  his Wife, Jeannie Trusty of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jeremy(Jennifer) Trusty of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Joseph(Jennifer) Trusty of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jordan Trusty of Seattle, Washington, Daughter, Jaimie(John) Howard of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Dan(Joni) Cole of LaPorte, Indiana, Son, Frankie Risner of Knox, Indiana, Son, Elijah(Annie Gilson) Risner of Knox, Indiana, Son, Josh Risner of Knox, Indiana, 10 Grandchildren, Brother, Bob(Judy) Trusty of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Paulette(Doug) Sinn of Hamlet, Indiana, Mother-in-Law, Flo McCollum of Knox, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by parents Harold and Ruby Trusty.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM at Little Dove United Baptist Church, Friday, August 12, 2022,  Braman & Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at Little Dove United Baptist Church, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11 AM with Pastor Hoss Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery.
