Dovie A Stacy

Dovie A. Stacy, 78 years old of Plymouth, Indiana, formally of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 in Plymouth, Indiana.

She was born Friday, June 14, 1946 in Dana, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Isaac Hurd and the late Augusta (Maulky) Hurd.

December 26, 1975 in Wise,  Virginia, Dovie married Arnold Stacy, he preceded her on September 5, 2000.

Dovie enjoyed playing bingo, painting  and putting puzzles together.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Dewight(Gayle) Newsome of North Judson, Indiana, Son, James(Dawn) Newsome of Neenah, Wisconsin, Son, Ray(Deb) Stacy of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Barb Willimans of Culver, Indiana, Daughter, Bernice Kline of Berwick, Pennsylvania, Brother, Charles(Patty) Hurd of Winamac, Indiana, 15 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Stacy and  daughter Jodi Stacy, parents Isaac and Augusta Hurd, brother Merle Hurd and sisters Leonie Samons, Daisy Carr, Judy Johnson and Thelma Johnson.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 1 PM with Rev Heath Hiatt officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland  Cemetery, North Judson, IN  46366.
