Dorothy  Salyer, 85 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 in North Judson, Indiana.

She was born Sunday, April 30, 1939 in Salyersville, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Riley Nichols and the late Fannie (Cole) Nichols.

August 13, 1969, Dorothy married Ishmael Salyer, he preceded her April 25, 1998.

Dorothy was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly church of Knox. She enjoyed needlepoint, quilting and gardening.  She loved to laugh and spend time with her family and grandchildren.

She worked as a laborer  for Aker Plastics .

Surviving are Daughter, Arlene Salyer of North Judson, Indiana, Son, William(Lori) Michael Rowe of Lima, Ohio, Son, Douglas(Kim) Rowe of Lima, Ohio, Son, Kenneth Salyer of Spencerville, Ohio, Son, Todd(JoAnn) Salyer of Wapaketa, Ohio, 14 grandchildren 38 great-grandchildren 6 great great-grandchildren, Brother, Ronnie Nichols, Ohio, Brother, Bill Nichols, Ohio, Brother, Bubby Nichols, Oklahoma, Sister, Lora Ward of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Ruth Rowe of Mosherville, Michigan, Sister, Boots Rowe of Lima, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ishmael Salyer, daughter Darlene Dorsett, son Keith Salyer, granddaughter Jessica Judy, great-granddaughter Kierstyn Parker, great-grandson Kamdon Lines, brothers Walter, Amor, Paul and Clifford Nichols and sisters Catherine Nichols, Caroline Jacobs and Martha Jennings and parents Riley and Fannie Nichols.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of services at 12 PM, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 12 PM with  Pastor Nick Columbo officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland  Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to Full Gospel Assembly church of Knox.
