Donnie Ray Caudill, 79 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 in North Judson, Indiana .

He was born Thursday, December 13, 1945 in Lacrosse, Indiana, Son of the late Lonnie Caudill and the late Sarah Ettie(Back) Caudill.

On October 22, 1965, in Knox, Indiana, Donnie married his loving wife, Linda McCay.

After graduating North Judson High School, he enlisted in the Army and trained in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.  He continued his service in the Army reserves for 17 years. He retired in 2007 after working for many years as a master mechanic for Union local 150 Operating Engineers.  He was a member of English Lake Church for several years and lately enjoyed attending Bible Baptist Church.  He loved attending car shows and showing his Dodge Superbee.  He enjoyed his mission trips to Mexico, traveling and Route 66. He also loved his many friends and family. 

Surviving are  his Wife, Linda Caudill of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Connie(Joe) Lenig of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Charlotte(Dave) Emigh of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Carrie(Brad) Brewer of Knox, Indiana, Son, James(Beth) Caudill  of Dixon, Illinois, 18 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren, Close family friend, Jerry Bacon of Toto, Indiana, Sister, Hazel Richie of North Judson, Indiana, Brother, Kellie Caudill of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Vonda Heidel of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Ruth Marcum of Chapmanville, West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Sarah Caudill, siblings Jurlena Bostain, Boyd Caudill, Billy Caudill, Nancy Caudill and grandson Zachary Caudill.

Friends will be received 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, January 23  at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11 AM with Rev. James Adcock and Rev. Art Good officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland  Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church for their family center in memory of Donnie.
