Donna S. Coldiron Wheeler

Donna S. Coldiron Wheeler, age 72, of Knox, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 3:35 p.m. at Northwest Health-La Porte.

The daughter of the late Roy Coldiron and the late Lula (Joseph) Coldiron, Donna was born on August 20, 1951, in Knox, Indiana, and lived in the area most of her life.

On July 3, 1974, Donna married William Wheeler, Sr., in Knox, Indiana.

Many knew Donna as a realtor in the area prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Judson, loved to fish, take walks, being with her family, and attending her grandkids' sporting events. 

In addition to her husband, William, Donna is survived by three sons, Danny Coldiron, of Knox. William (Lindsay) Wheeler, of Culver, Indiana, and Robert (Melissa) Wheeler, of La Crosse, Indiana, a daughter, Shelly (Steve) Ransom, of North Judson, Indiana, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Betty Howard, of Knox.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lula Coldiron, and two brothers, James Coldiron, Sescoe Wireman, and Robie Wireman.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Round Lake Cemetery in Knox, Indiana. Pastor Joel Zippay will officiate.
