Donald "Ricky" Minix

Donald "RICKY " Minix, age 66, of Lafayette, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Gallatin,Tennessee. Ricky was born on August 20, 1955 to the late JC and Joyce (Campbell) Minix, in Knox, Indiana. On September 3, 2005 in Rennsselaer, Indiana Ricky married his First Love Geraldine Shepherd. Ricky's greatest passion was reading his Bible and helping others, he enjoyed woodworking, mowing his grass, playing guitar, singing, telling good spirited jokes and making people smile. His greatest love was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his 3 fur babies, Holly, Bella, and Titan. Ricky served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Ricky was retired from Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150 as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

Surviving are his Wife, Geraldine (Shepherd) Minix Lafayette, Tennessee, Daughter, Tracy (Jon) Cripe of Goodland, Indiana, Daughter Trina Minix of Joliet, Illinois, Stepson, Sherman (Jenny) Back of Lebanon, Tennessee, Foster Son, Jonathan Chapman of Lafayette, Tennessee 7 Grandchildren, Regan Thompson of Joliet, Illinois, Macyn Dyer, Logan and Colten Cripe of Goodland, Indiana, Alyssa , Molly and Emma Back of Lebanon, Tennessee, 1 Great-Grandchild, Harlee Lynn Daugherty of Lebanon, Tennessee. 4 Brothers, Ron (Janet) Minix of Hamlet, Indiana, James Minix, Alan (Annette) Minix, Adam (Stacie) Minix all of Rensselaer, Indiana, 2 Sisters, Jamie Biggs of Rennesselaer, Indiana Billie Jo (Shawn) Biggs of Francesville, Indiana, Stepmom, Nila Minix of North Judson, Indiana Sister-in-La, Pee-Wee (Hal) Troike of Las Vegas, Nevada 3 Brother-in-law's Gary Wayne (Christine) Shepherd, Garry Redlin of North Judson, Indiana Roy Bradley of Knox, Indiana. He was preceded in death by Parents JC and Joyce (Campbell) Minix, Sister Raelane Conley, Father and Mother-in-law Albert Lee Sr. and Emily Shepherd, Sister-in-laws, Rosalie Redlin and Alene Bradley, Brother-in-laws, Albert Lee Junior, David, and Larry Shepherd. Stepson, Tony Wayne Back.

Visitation will be Sunday October 3, 2021 from 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM at the Braman and Son Memorial Chapel in Knox, Indiana.

Services will be Sunday October 3, 2021 at 1 PM at the Braman and Son Memorial Chapel with Rev Eddie Trusty officiating.
