Denzel  Salyer, 66 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Regency Hospital in Portage, Indiana.

He was born Friday, February 3, 1956 in Knox In, son of the late Ishmeal Salyer and the late Madgeline Back Salyer.

On September 29, 1979 Denzel married Arlene Rowe in Lima, OH.

He worked for Akers Manufacturing.

Surviving are Wife, Arlene Salyer of North Judson, In, Daughter, Alyssa Justice of Plymouth, In, Daughter, Heather (Mike) Parker of Wheatfield, In, Daughter, Amber (Kyle) White of Portage, In, Sister, Susan (Harry) Crossan of Perryville, MD, 9 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ishmeal Salyer and Madgeline Back Salyer and step-father Homer Lee Cook, Jr.; a grand daughter Kierstyn Parker; two brothers Gregory Salyer and Duane Cook; and sisters Linda Salyer, Shirley Merchant and Rhonda Minix.

Friends will be received Saturday April 2 From 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, IN  46366.
