David Eugene Wiening, 76 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in Hobart, Indiana.

He was born Monday, February 6, 1950 in Hammond, Indiana, Son of the late Robert Wiening and the late Jean(Beltman) Wiening.

March 20, 1995 in Cotter, Arkansas, David married Patricia Walls, she survives him. 

David was a US Navy Veteran.  He enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle, watching NASCAR and sports.  His greatest passion was spending time with his wife and family.

He worked  for Road Construction .

Surviving are  his Wife, Patricia Wiening of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Carrie Ann(Robert) Walz of Molena, Illinois, Daughter, Kelly  Jean Putzler of Molena, Illinois, 4 grandchildren: Andrew(Amber) Banaszak of Overland Park, Kansas, Kyle Putzler of Molena, Illinois, Matthew Putzler of Molena, Illinois, Alyson Walz of Molena, Illinois, 1 great-grandchild: Asher Banaszak of Overland Park, Kansas, Brother, Damian(Fay) Wiening of Hammond, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by parents Robert and Jean Wiening, brothers Robert Wiening and William Test and sister Marsha Wiening.
