Daniel Neely

Daniel Neely, 79 years old of Athens, Texas, formally of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Athens, Texas.

He was born Thursday, March 26, 1942 in Medaryville, Indiana, Son of the late John Neely and the late Arpy(Wireman) Neely.

June 15, 1963 in Lordsburg, New Mexico, Daniel married Jaydeanna Taylor, she preceded him on February 12, 2011.

Daniel's greatest passion was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.

He worked as a Civil Engineer.

Surviving are Son, Taylor(Tanya) Neely of Clover, Wisconsin, Son, Travis(Denise) Neely of Murphy, Texas, Daughter, Sarah(Terry) Jannasch of Athens, Texas, 7 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren, Sister, Reba Horn of Summerdale, Alabama, Sister, Jane Spencer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sister, Jean Parish of Francesville, Indiana, Sister, Sarah Newton of Milan, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jaydeanna "Jaydi" Rhea Neely, parents John and Arpy Neely, brothers Arthur, John and Robert Neely and sisters Ruth Spear and Maxie McKenzie.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 11:30 AM, Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11 :30 AM with Rev. Art Good officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sutton Cemetery in Medaryville, Indiana.
