Dale "Pete" VanCuren Jr, 63, was born on September 22nd, 1960 to Dale and Carol (Elea) VanCuren.  He passed away in his home on December 29th, 2023.
He is survived by his sons, Dale (Kim) VanCuren III and Matthew (Tessa) VanCuren.  He was a beloved and dedicated "Pap" to his grandsons, Dale VanCuren IV, Dylan, Rylan, Dawsyn, and Jensyn VanCuren.
Also surviving are his sisters, Sue (Greg) Branson, Mary VanMeerbeek, Maggie Foor, and Dorothy VanCuren; brothers, George (Mary) VanCuren, Tony (Kim) VanCuren, and Ottie (Michelle) VanCuren; many nieces, nephews, best friends Joan Ryder, Sue, Mike and Jeanie Marsh, and the entire DeGard Family.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, sister Marilyn VanCuren-Scott, and dear friend Pat.
Pete loved being outdoors, spending time with his childern and grandchildren, watching the Cubs play, antiquing, and refinishing furniture.  He had a green thumb and loved his landscaping.  He could often be found with a smile on his face, walking his dog Star, and wearing a flannel.
He will be loved and missed by so many.
