Charlie  Clemons, 96 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in LaCrosse, Indiana.

He was born Tuesday, January 21, 1930 in Jackson, Kentucky, Son of the late Finley Clemons and the late Margaret (Noble) Clemons.

September 17, 1949 in Winamac, Indiana, Charlie married Minnie White, she preceded in death on July 14, 2025.

Charlie was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church.  He was retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad.  He enjoyed fishing,  deer hunting and gardening.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Kenny(Lynn) Clemons of LaPorte, Indiana, son Michael (Alissa) Clemons of Wanatah, Indiana, Daughter, Angela Thomas of LaPorte, Indiana, 7 grandchildren: Kristy, Benjamin, Alexander, Maxwell, Drake and Sara,  6 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Kiyana, Kyra, Oliver, Maverick and Amiya,  7 great great-grandchildren: Ian, Aleyah, Ilena, Lylah Jane, Iliyah and Nyomi.

He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Clemons, son Dennis Clemons, grandchild Amber Rochelle Clemons, parents Finley and Margaret Clemons, infant sister Charity Clemons, infant brothers Jerry and Goble Clemons, brothers: Stewart, Raymond, Harlan and Carson Clemons and half brothers: Squire, Kinnie and Barlow Clemons, sisters: Elizabeth Clemons Eva Campbell Hogg, Cappie Clemons, Loraine Bailey and half sisters Vicie Russell, Equilla Messer and Nanna Bell Clemons.

Friends will be received 12 PM till time of service at 2 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026  at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2 PM with rev. Brian Pinson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland  Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the Calvery Baptist Church.
