Charles  A. Householder, 70 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Saturday, April 23, 1955 in Hammond, Indiana, Son of the late Otho Householder and the late Charlene(Brown) Householder.

Charles commonly known as housecat to his fellow boiler maker workers.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and his children remember fondly eating his catch.  His children talked of how well he raised decent children.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a boilmaker.

Surviving are Daughter, Angela Householder of South Bend, Indiana, Daughter, Heather(Paul) Hurrell of Kingman, Arizona, Daughter, Hope(Tom) McCoy of Diana, Texas, Son, Charles Householder of Lowell, Indiana, Son, Michael(Casey) Householder of North Judson, Indiana, 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents Otho and Charlene Householder and a sister Reva Spoor.
