Catherine "Cathy" Stacy-Rutledge

Catherine  "Cathy" Stacy-Rutledge, 62 years old of  Akron, Indiana, formally of Knox, Indiana, died Saturday, May 24, 2025 in Rochester, Indiana.

She was born Saturday, August 18, 1962 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late Dexter Stacy and the late Claudine(Campbell) Stacy.

Cathy enjoyed gardening and being outside. She also enjoyed cooking and dressing up to look nice.  Her greatest passion was her 2 dogs and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are Daughter, Amber  Howard of Knox, Indiana, Son, Shane(Casey) Warner of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughter, Heather Sehstedt of Rochester, Indiana, 7 grandchildren 1 great-grandchild, Step-mother Marlene Stacy of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Dexter Stacy Jr of Leiters Ford, Indiana, Brother, Darren Stacy of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Greg Stacy of Winamac, Indiana, Sister, Crystal Gudas of Rochester, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by son Ryan Stacy, granddaughter Korie Howard and parents Dexter and Claudine Stacy.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Friday, May 30 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, May 30, 2025 at 1 PM with  Rev. Heath Hiatt officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fletcher Cemetery,  Grovertown, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the family.
