Catherine "Kat" Minix, 37 years old of South Bend, Indiana, formally of Knox, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 in South Bend, Indiana.

She was born Sunday, June 19, 1983 in Blue Island, Illinois, Daughter of Tammy (Minix) Collins.

Kat was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. She had a laugh like no other. Kat's greatest passion was spending time with her 2 dogs and her loved ones.

Surviving are Mother and step-father, Tammy and Richard Collins of Knox, Indiana, Grandmother, Bertha Collins of Knox, Indiana, Grandfather, Lacy Minix of Winamac, Indiana, Daughter, Jazmine Collins of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Olivia Collins of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Adam(Kelli) Minix of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Garth(Nichole) Collins of LaPorte, Indiana, Sister, Amanda Minix of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Stephanie Minix of North Judson, Indiana, Ex-step father, Michael Collins of Knox, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Kathleen and Ernie Carlson, grandparents Jim and Lois Collins, aunt and uncle Jonathon and Ella May Minix, grandfather Garland Collins, grandmother Nellie Minix.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 1 PM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
