Carl "Sonny" H. Redlin Jr.

Carl "Sonny" H. Redlin Jr., 85 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by his loving family Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Thursday, April 29, 1937 in Denham, Indiana, Son of the late Carl H Redlin Sr. and the late Ruth (St Peter) Redlin.

June 22, 1957 in Denham, Indiana, Carl married the love of his life Martha Sue Ellis, she preceded him on July 24, 2001.

Sonny enjoyed working on cars.  He also enjoyed camping and going on family vacations.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a laborer  for Rockwell and Bremen Berrings.

Surviving are Son, Dennis(Cindy) Redlin of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jerry(Ramona) Redlin of Knox, Indiana, Son, Larry(Anita) Redlin of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Monica Bradley of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Sherry Platt of Plymouth, Indiana, 12 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren 6 great-great grandchildren, Brother, Virgil(Boots) Redlin of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Garry Redlin of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Bonnie(Gary) Minix of Denham, Indiana, Sister, Darleen Redlin of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Linda Bailey of North Judson, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Sue(Ellis) Redlin, parents Carl and Ruth Redlin Sr, grandson Waylon Bradley, brothers Dean and John Redlin and sister Lyla Beauchamp.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of services at 2 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 2 PM with  Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
