Betty Faye Hounshell

Betty Faye Hounshell, 84 years old of Knox, Indiana, died Monday, February 21, 2022 in LaPorte, Indiana.

She was born Wednesday, June 16, 1937 in Jackson, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Jimmy Robinson and the late Bertha(Potter) Robinson.

September 13, 1959 in Knox, Indiana, Betty married Henry Hounshell, he survives her.

Betty was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Ober, Indiana.  She was an extremely Godly woman, with a great positive outlook on life  and loved to read scriptures.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are  her husband, Henry Hounshell of Knox, Indiana, Son, Larry(Barbara) Robinson of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jerry(Michelle) Hounshell of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Jason Hounshell of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Wilma(Mike) Rowe of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Tammy(Bryan) Baker of North Liberty, Indiana, Sister, Annie(Ernest) Finley, Sister, Lena(M.C.) Howard, Sister, Clara Smith, Sister, Lorene Palmer, Sister, Alpha Palmer, Brother, Silas(Ginger) Robinson, Brother, James(Gladys) Robinson, 12 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Jimmy and Bertha Robinson, grandson Carl Wayne and sister Rose May Finley.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11 AM with Rev. Ben Carpenter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery.
