Barbara (Greer) Hawkey Obituary

Barbara Jean Hawkey, age 54, of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at her residence.


She was born Monday, April 28, 1969 in Knox Indiana, daughter of the late Clarence Greer and the late Verna (Reinhardt) Greer.


Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening, and embroidering. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.


She worked in Environmental Services for Culver Academies.


Surviving are her husband, Tim Hawkey of North Judson, Indiana, Daughters, Katherine Trent of Denver, CO; Annabelle Trent of North Judson, IN; Kaitlin (Zack) Jones of Warsaw, IN; and Kristin Marie (Travis) Gentry of Rochester, IN.


In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death, a brother, Dale Greer and a sister, Tina Greer.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
