Alan F Felchuk Obituary

 

Alan (Al) Frank Felchuk, of Chicago, IL, Bass Lake, IN, and for the last 46 years, North Judson, IN, passed on March 31, 2021 at home.


He was born November 19, 1946 to the late Frank and Marian (Mae), nee Shramuk, Felchuk of Chicago, IL and Bass Lake, IN. Al served in the United States Army for 9 years including a tour of duty in Vietnam. After separation from the armed forces, he operated brake presses first at Allis Chalmers, LaPorte, IN until it closed, secondly at the North Judson location of Thermo Products until he retired. He had been active in the Bass Lake Lions and American Legion Post 98, North Judson.  In the late 1990s he served on the North Judson Town Council. 


 


In 1985 he married Jane Ellen Fisher, who survives along with his son Ronald Alan (Monique) Felchuk of Salem, WI, and daughters Candy Ann Parduhn of Oswego, IL and Victoria Ellen (Justin) Stone of Florida.  Grandchildren Heather (Josh) DiJoseph of Wonder Lake, IL; Theresa of Chicago, IL; Ronald Alan Jr., Kristina, and Tatiana Felchuk of Salem WI.; Savannah and Sebastian of Oswego, IL. Great grandchildren, twins Chayce and Brayden DiJoseph.of Wonder Lake, IL.  Brothers James (Barbara) and David Felchuk of Bass Lake and sister Kathy (Tom) Hass, Spencer, TN.  One sister, Joyce Roe, proceeded him in death.


 


Al loved fishing, gardening, keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums, woodworking, and his dogs who traveled with him everywhere. He was a general handyman/jack of all trades. He especially loved visiting, chatting and joshing with his friends.


There will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
