Magdalene A Kozubik, 87 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 in Knox, Indiana.

She was born Thursday, January 5, 1933 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late Frederick Gerstandt and the late Helen(Werner) Gerstandt.

May 8, 1954 in Knox, Indiana, Magdalene married Frank Kozubik, he preceded her on May 7, 2020.

Magdalene was the class valedictorian of Knox High School Class of 1951. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, the North Bend Twp Ladies club, and a member of the local Bunco club. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, crafts and heavily involved in the local 4-H. Magdalene's greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren .

She worked as a case worker for Starke Co. Welfare Department .

Surviving are Son, James(Jo) Kozubik of Knox, Indiana, Son, Paul Kozubik of Culver, Indiana, Daughter, Lisa(Kregg) Sims of Carmel, Indiana, 5 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren, Sister, Helen King of Culver, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kozubik and parents Frederick and Helen Gerstandt, brothers Robert, George, Harold and Donald Gerstandt and sister Marqarite O'Conner.

Friends will be received 9:30 AM till time of service at 10 AM, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 10 AM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Starke Co. 4-H Council.
