Patricia Anne (Lotz) Fishburn, 74 years old of Knox, Indiana and Welaka, Florida, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday, June 2, 2017.

She was born Thursday, July 9, 1942 in Riverdale, Illinois, Daughter of the late Raymond Lotz and the late Florence (DeYoung) Lotz.

Pat grew up in the church being baptized, attended school, confirmed, and later married in St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School in Dolton, Illinois. She attended Thornton High School, class of 1960. She married Her best friend and love of her life Forrest F. Fishburn, on February 17, 1962 in Bass Lake, Indiana and was happily married for 55 years. Pat and Forrest owned and operated Fishburn's Marina at the south end of Bass Lake for many years. Pat was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox, Indiana and Hope Lutheran Church in Satsuma, Florida. Pat was devoted to her Faith and Family. She helped start the Drive-In Ministry at the Melody Drive-In Theater during the summer months at Bass Lake. She was involved in numerous Bible studies, VBS, Alter Guild and was the Sunday School Superintendent for several years. She enjoyed the Red Hat Society, Homemaker's Club, Bunco Club, 4-H, bowling, traveling the world and gardening. Pat and Forrest provided fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden to the Food Bank at Our Redeemer Lutheran church. She also helped establish a garden for the students at Knox High School. She poured her love into anything that would grow.

Surviving are Husband, Forrest Fishburn of Knox, Indiana and Welaka, Florida, Daughter, Lorriane(Cody) Meyer of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughter, Kimberly(Roger) Slavens of Jacksonville, Florida, Granddaughter, Lauren Slavens, Grandson, Bowen Meyers, Sister, Janice(Earl) Willette of North Carolina, Sister, Mildred Jaster of Nevada, Sister, Ellen(Don) Freese of Knox, Indiana and many dear cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Florence(De Young) Lotz, brother and sister in law Raymond and Candy Lotz of Monee, Illinois and brother in law Rev John Jaster of Nevada.

Friends will be received 4-8 PM, Friday, June 9, 2017 at the at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana and Saturday June, 10, 2017 from 10 AM till time of service at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11 AM with Pastor Joel Zipay officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, in North Judson, Indiana.

Contributions may be made to the children's or youth ministries of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox, Indiana.

I am so sorry for your loss, Forest and family. I remember Pat and you both when we were kids. fishburns was where we all went when we were kids. Forest, Pat and you were a big part of my childhood. Thank you Shelly
