Dannie R. Hoffer Sr., 74 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 in North Judson, Indiana.

He was born Thursday, December 20, 1945 in LaPorte, Indiana, Son of the late Arthur Ray Hoffer and the late Vera(Pratt) Hoffer.

February 5, 1965, in Wise, Virginia, Dannie married the former Thelma Puckett, she survives him.

Dannie was the owner of the ambulance service Absolute Best care. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and the North Judson Masonic Lodge #438. Dannie was a member of the Antique Car club of Peru and enjoyed attending antique car shows. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Dannie and his wife Thelma were the loving foster parents to many children through the years. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a Tool and Die welder for Ford Motor Co.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Hoffer of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Dannie Hoffer Jr. of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Ricky Hoffer of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Ronald Avery Hoffer of Mishawaka, Indiana, Son, Noah Michael Avery Hoffer of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Amber Renae Avery Hoffer of Winamac, Indiana, Daughter, Kelly Ann Avery Hoffer of Knox, Indiana, 7 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren, Brother, Billy Joe Hoffer of Knox, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by parents Arthur and Vera Hoffer, brother Ronald Hoffer and sisters Tena Frazier and Tami Martinez.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 1 PM with Rev. James Adcock officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church.
