Everee Allen, 89 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

She was born Thursday, August 28, 1930 in Salyersville, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Jake Miller and the late Lillie (Prater) Miller.

August 6, 1947, in Knox, Indiana, Everee married Russell Allen, he preceded her on July 14, 2020,

Everee was a member of the Highway Chapel Church and the Gospel Lighthouse Church. Everee enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. She enjoyed coloring, word searches and putting together jigsaw puzzles. Everee and Russell enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time in their travel trailer. Everee greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Michael(Loygie) Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Son, Denis Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Daughter, Pam(Philip McKinnis) Baker of Culver, Indiana, 5 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Allen and infant son Matthew, parents Jake and Lillie Miller, brothers Dupree, Eugene, Arville, Harlow, Hargis Miller and sisters Bessie Pitts, Eda Fugate and Julie Miller.

Friends will be received 4-8 PM, Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 10 AM with Rev. Dan Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the Gospel Lighthouse Church.
