Thomas E. Barnett, 85 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 in Laporte, Indiana.

He was born Sunday, June 3, 1934 in Jackson, Kentucky, Son of the late Lacy Barnett and the late Cora (Gasparet) Barnett.

July 14, 1977 in Starke County, Tom married Omie Manns, she survives him.

Tom enjoyed working in his yard and had is own lawn mowing business. Tom's greatest passion was spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Omie Barnett of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jerry Barnett of BellaVista, Arkansas, Daughter, Karen(Robert) Marshall of Pearidge, Arkansas, Step-son, Danny(Victoria) Salyer of North Judson, Indiana, Step-son, Donnie(Dana) Salyer of Knox, Indiana, Step-son, Shawn Salyer of LaPorte, Indiana, 12 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents Lacy and Cora Barnett, brothers Charlie, Bill and Walter Barnett and sister Janice Fletcher.

Graveside service at Denham Cemetery, Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1 PM.

Interment will follow in the Denham Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Funeral Home.

Sorry for this loss,Tom was a good friend for many years, even tho we had lost touch for a while he was never forgotten, His family is in our prayers, may he rest in peace
