Jerry J. Cole, 83 years old of Knox, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Sunday, September 30, 1934 in Alger, Ohio, Son of the late Lacy Cole and the late Helen(Marshall) Cole.

Jerry was a member of the Hamlet American Legion and the Knox Moose Lodge. Jerry enjoyed splitting and cutting wood and tinkering with his tractors.

He worked as a small business owner and owned the King and Queen  laundry mat, he was also worked at Rockwell International and  Arrowhead.

Surviving are his wife, Alva(Scherf) Cole of Knox, Indiana,  Daughter, Rose Raderstorf of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Mary Ann Cole, Tennessee, step-Daughter, Cathy Rivosecchi of Walkerton, Indiana, step-Son Dewayne Scherf of Flordia, Brother, Larry(Opal) Cole of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Glen Cole of Hanna, Indiana, 4 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents Lacy and Helen Cole, brothers Lester, David and Robert Cole, and sister Doris Johnston.

Friends will be received 4-8 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to County Services of Starke County-Transportation Department.
